As the Assistant Retail Manager at Tunaskin, you will assist the Store Manager with providing leadership and direction to the retail sales team and ensure the customer experience is consistent with company standards for all guests. Your efforts will be spent training, and motivating a team of Tunaskin advocates who play a part in maintaining the top-notch retail experience everyone knows and loves. Additionally, exceeding company expectations in merchandising, sustainability, store operations, and community participation will be daily priorities.

What Success Looks Like:

• Exceed store sales goals and promote team productivity through measurement and monitoring of progress and results against key targets
• Review and utilize product, brand, and community knowledge to ensure customer engagement policies are followed to create an authentic brand experience
• Support local company events and grow relationships in the community to generate brand awareness, and drive traffic by seeking opportunities to engage with the customers and support/participate in community initiatives outside the four walls of the store
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and consistent with brand expectations
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn about the community, Tunaskin product knowledge, as well as new sales and service techniques
• Manage the daily visual and operational maintenance of the store
• Serve as a product knowledge resource for consumers and sales associates

What You Bring

• Customer service and/or retail management experience
• Proven ability to meet business goals by driving results through store team
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• Excellent decision making ability in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and software programs
• Proven ability in leading the delivery of a high level of customer service in a retail environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including require weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Able to work effectively with others and take direction from supervisors in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service
• Reliable transportation to and from work location
• Able to provide proof of residence
• Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time
