About the Artist
Across Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach, Lacy McClary paints the coast the way a songwriter composes a hit—leading with raw color, reflecting on personal experience, and leaving a lasting hook. Since opening her studio in 2004, her work has drawn life from barrier island light, drifting sailboats, and that quiet pause when the sunset meets the Gulf.
Music has always been part of Lacy’s creative process. Growing up in a family shaped by western swing—her grandfather played with Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys—instruments were as common as paintbrushes. Today, a baby grand piano remains central to her studio workspace.
This official Island Hopper Songwriter Fest shirt brings the life and color from Lacy's art and inspired from her original painting, “Blues Traveler” into the crowd. Partnering with Tunaskin, Lacy McClary Studio and Gallery transforms original island artwork into high-performance festival apparel designed to travel seamlessly from Captiva and Cape Coral to downtown Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach, it is a portable piece of the islands meant to be lived in from the opening chord to the final performance.

About Island Hopper Songwriter Fest
The Island Hopper Songwriter Fest is a 10-day music festival celebrating the art of songwriting and bringing some of the top BMI singer-songwriters from Nashville and across the country to Southwest Florida. The festival kicks off on Captiva Island, continues throughout the week in Cape Coral and Downtown Fort Myers, and wraps up with a final weekend on Fort Myers Beach. With most shows free to attend and a handful of special ticketed events, there are plenty of opportunities to catch live music throughout the festival.
