Fabric Care
To keep your Tunaskin garment looking its best, turn it inside out and wash it according to the instructions on the tag.
Best practices:
- Wash in cold water with like colors.
- Rinse after wearing in saltwater or chlorine to keep colors bright and prevent fading.
- Avoid putting your garments in a hot dryer. Air drying is recommended.
- Do not iron.
- To preserve our UPF fabrics, it’s best to avoid fabric softeners.
- Keep away from rough surfaces and Velcro to prevent snags.
- Avoid heavy fragrance detergents or scent boosters, which can cling to synthetic fibers.
Stain Removal
For best results, treat stains as soon as possible.
- Tide To Go pens or wipes can help with quick spot treatment.
- Avoid using hot water when treating stains, as heat can set many stains into the fabric.
- For stubborn stains, including fish blood, pre treat with an enzyme based laundry product before washing.
- Some sunscreens may permanently stain garments.
- Avobenzone, a common ingredient in many sunscreen formulas, can react with minerals in water and leave yellow, orange, or rust colored stains on fabric.
- Avoid storing wet garments for extended periods.

Unfortunately, Final Wave items are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Please make sure you're confident in your selection before completing your purchase.

No! Our Final Wave items are in excellent condition. We're simply making room for new seasonal inventory. All items meet our quality standards.
