Measuring Fish
- All fish caught must be measured in the sand with the ruler provided at check-in. Please make sure that the length of the fish is easily identifiable in the picture by placing the fish directly above the ruler.
- When using a flexible measuring tape, please remember to take a straight-line
measurement and do not follow the contour of the fish as this will result in an inaccurate measurement greater the than the straight-line measurement. - All Species are to be measure from the straight-line distance from the most forward point of the head with the mouth closed to the farthest tip of the tail with the tail squeezed together, while the fish is lying on its side.
